El riesgo más importante sigue siendo las heladas tardías que destruyen los cultivos en flor. En este momento con las nuevas variedades de floración tardía que están en el mercado, este riesgo se está reduciendo, también con el uso de ventiladores anticongelantes. Por otro lado, la maquinaria agrícola actual facilita enormemente el trabajo en el campo. Tractores con cabinas, sembradoras automáticas con GPS, atomizadores, discos de corte y podadoras, recolección mecanizada ...
